Cansi
Philippine soup dish uses the rich flavors beef shank mixed with the fresh and sweet taste of lemongrass and jackfruit, combined in a tangy tamarind soup.
Ingredients:
- Beef Shanks
- Onion
- Garlic
- Red Tomatoes
- Annatto Powder
- Black Pepper
- Pink Salt
- Tamarind
- Ginger
- Lemon Grass
- Long Green Chilli
- Unripe Jackfruit
Procedure:
- Defat beef in 30 mins
- Sauté onion, garlic and tomatoes
- Add the defatted beef
- Add all ingredients.
- Cook for 20 mins in medium heat
