Chicken Mandi
Chicken Mandi is popular Arabian dish featuring chicken, rice and spices that are carefully cooked for a delicious wholesome meal.
Ingredients:
- Chicken
- Chopped Onions
- Garlic
- Cardamom
- Cinnamon Sticks
- Raisins
- Bay Leaves
- Cloves
- Turmeric Powder
- Saffron
- Black Pepper
- Corriander Leaves
- Salt
- Basmati Rice
Procedure:
- Preheat Skillet at 230deg, cook the chicken first for 15
mins and 10 mind on the other side. Set aside the
Chicken. - Sauté Onion and Garlic and add all dry ingredients.
- Add pre soaked rice and water.
- Place the grater on Skillet and add the Chicken on top,
set to Rice 2. - Once done, to create a smokey flavour, place a charcoal
with oil in a gawa cup and put inside the Skillet for 5
mins. - Garnish with Corriander and Serve!
