Chicken Mandi

Chicken Mandi is popular Arabian dish featuring chicken, rice and spices that are carefully cooked for a delicious wholesome meal.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken
  • Chopped Onions
  • Garlic
  • Cardamom
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • Raisins
  • Bay Leaves
  • Cloves
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Saffron
  • Black Pepper
  • Corriander Leaves
  • Salt
  • Basmati Rice

Procedure:

  1. Preheat Skillet at 230deg, cook the chicken first for 15
    mins and 10 mind on the other side. Set aside the
    Chicken.
  2. Sauté Onion and Garlic and add all dry ingredients.
  3. Add pre soaked rice and water.
  4. Place the grater on Skillet and add the Chicken on top,
    set to Rice 2.
  5. Once done, to create a smokey flavour, place a charcoal
    with oil in a gawa cup and put inside the Skillet for 5
    mins.
  6. Garnish with Corriander and Serve!
